Learn how to manage your Zek account, including security settings, subscription management, and profile information.

Account Settings

Updating Your Profile

To update your profile information:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Update your information in the “Profile” section
  5. Click “Save Changes”

Changing Your Password

For security reasons, we recommend changing your password periodically:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Go to the “Security” tab
  5. Click “Change Password”
  6. Enter your current password
  7. Enter and confirm your new password
  8. Click “Update Password”

Important: Since we use zero-knowledge encryption, we cannot recover your account if you forget your password. Make sure to store your new password in a secure location, such as a password manager.

Two-Factor Authentication

Enhance your account security with two-factor authentication (2FA):

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Go to the “Security” tab
  5. Click “Enable Two-Factor Authentication”
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up 2FA using an authenticator app
  7. Save the backup codes in a secure location

Subscription Management

Viewing Your Current Plan

To view your current subscription plan:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Go to the “Subscription” tab
  5. View your current plan, billing cycle, and next payment date

Upgrading Your Plan

To upgrade to a premium plan:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Go to the “Subscription” tab
  5. Click “Upgrade Plan”
  6. Select your desired plan
  7. Complete the payment process

Canceling Your Subscription

If you need to cancel your subscription:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Go to the “Subscription” tab
  5. Click “Cancel Subscription”
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm cancellation

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the free tier.

Data Management

Deleting Your Account

If you wish to delete your account:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Select “Account Settings”
  4. Go to the “Data” tab
  5. Click “Delete Account”
  6. Enter your password to confirm
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the deletion process

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers. We recommend exporting your data before deleting your account.
